Executive Personal Assistant to the Founder — Network & Relationship Lead

Executive Office · Lagos, Nigeria (Remote — Founder based in Offa; this role is BtSh’s on-ground presence and network in Lagos) · Full Time

BtSh Africa Limited is looking for someone with real standing in Lagos’s logistics, freight, and financial circles — someone who either knows the right people or knows exactly who does, and can turn that into meetings on the Founder’s calendar without being asked twice.

This is not a scheduling role. You are the reason the right rooms get filled. When BtSh needs to sit across from logistics executives, fleet managers, or bank decision-makers, you’re the one who makes the call, calls in the favor, or finds the introduction — and gets it done, not “tries.”

A live example of what this looks like in practice: BtSh is planning a dinner with logistics executives and fleet managers to present our escrow payment protection model — the pitch that gets shippers only paid, verified loads and takes the risk out of every transaction. Your job is to make sure the right people are in that room. Not chase invitations — curate them.

Beyond relationship-building, you’ll manage the Founder’s full Lagos operating rhythm: booking flights, organizing conference and meeting logistics, and handling every on-ground detail so his time in Lagos is spent in rooms that matter, not in transit or admin. And critically — you think ahead. You don’t wait to be told what the Founder needs next; you’re already three steps ahead with an idea, a contact, or a plan he hasn’t asked for yet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source and secure meetings with logistics executives, fleet managers, bank decision-makers, and other high-value contacts using your own network and relationships
  • Plan and curate BtSh-hosted events (e.g., executive dinners, partner briefings) — from guest list to room, not just logistics
  • Represent BtSh credibly in rooms the Founder can’t personally attend, including speaking to BtSh’s escrow-protected payment model
  • Book and manage all travel — flights, itineraries, conference and meeting logistics
  • Anticipate the Founder’s needs before he raises them — bring ideas, contacts, and plans unprompted
  • Manage relationship follow-through, so doors opened stay open

Compensation: Competitive and open — structured around the value and network you bring, not a fixed band. Serious candidates with the right relationships should not self-select out over salary expectations; this is discussed directly.

Requirements

  • An established personal network within Lagos logistics, freight, fleet management, or banking/financial circles — this is the core requirement, not a nice-to-have
  • Proven track record of independently securing meetings and access through personal relationships, not cold outreach
  • Prior experience in banking, financial services, or logistics is strongly preferred
  • Experience planning executive-level events or curated gatherings
  • Sharp, proactive thinker — comfortable generating ideas and acting on them without direct instruction
  • Based in Lagos, available on short notice
  • High discretion, sound judgment, and comfort operating with significant autonomy
